Balans Restaurant is looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, managing a specific kitchen section, and maintaining food safety standards. The CDP will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare, cook, and present dishes within a designated kitchen section.
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and portion control.
Ensure kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
Monitor food stock levels, ensure proper storage, and minimize waste.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain kitchen efficiency.
Adhere to restaurant recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in dishes.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude, fostering teamwork in the kitchen.
Previous experience as a CDP or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
