WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A CHEF DE PARTIE?

As a chef de partie at RIU Plaza London Victoria, you will be responsible for preparing and overseeing the culinary operations in your assigned section. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and food cost management.
  • Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels and ensuring proper storage and handling of ingredients.
  • Supervising and training junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and kitchen standards.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations and maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

The position as chef de partie is a full-time position, offering 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required as the working hours may vary based on the needs of the hotel.
