Launched in late 2021 by brothers Elliot and Sam Day, FieldGoods is a sustainable food company on a mission to make truly incredible ready meals (we hate calling them ready meals but there is no other word for it, they are meals, and they are ready!).

Job Description

Our production team is the heart of what we do here at FieldGoods. The team is responsible for everything from the moment the produce arrives at the kitchen to the moment the finished dish is sealed, packed and frozen.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team. Working directly with our Head, Sous Chef and the rest of the chef team, you will be involved in all aspects of production from prepping and cooking, to portioning and packing.

The position requires high levels of organisation and discipline to manage a workload and work as a team effectively. We are looking for someone that is invested in the idea of the business, has an absolute passion for good food, is up for a challenge and has a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the kitchen team to effectively manage production
  • Producing dishes to specification and maintaining the high level of quality we expect
  • Prepping ingredients to specification

Must Haves

  • 1 year cooking experience
  • A passion for quality food and produce
  • A desire to achieve and improve in what you do
  • A real sense of pride in your work
  • A proactive attitude and confidence in your abilities
  • Food Hygiene level 2
