Job role: Commis Chef /Grab & Go Chef
Location: Central London
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours, weekends off!
Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Commis Chef (Grab & Go)to work in their prestigious contract catering site in the heart of London.

Commis Chef Duties:
- Following directions provided by the Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Learning food preparation techniques
- Cooking and presenting meals to a high standard
- Working under pressure to ensure meals are served on time
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary
- Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback
- Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required
Commis Chef Requirements:
- A genuine passion for food
- A strong interest to have a career in cooking
- A desire to want to learn
- Good listening skills
- Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
- Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Punctual and reliable
