New delivery Kitchen
We currently have several vacancies for entry level chefs for a Chinese hot pot delivery kitchen newly opened in Vauxhall. The kitchen belongs to a restaurant chain, it is the 6th store globally and the 2nd location in the UK. Menus include regional Chinese hot pot dishes created specifically to appeal to the UK market. Duties will include general food prep, chopping vegetables, slicing beef, cooking and packing orders for delivery, as well as some stock management (estimates and request ingredients from management).
Required skills & experience
- Good knife skills
- Attention to detail
- Current food hygiene certificate (level 2 or above)
- Allergen awareness
- high food safety practices
Our ideal candidate will be a reliable chef with decent knife skills, calm under pressure and capable of producing consistent dishes that meet the brand standard.
No previous experience of Chinese cuisine is required as full training will be given
Straight shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off (flexible, open for discussion)
Salary £12 an hour + bonus
