As a Chef Commis, you will play an integral role in supporting our culinary team and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen
Responsibilities as a Commis Chef
- Prepare all mise-en-place and dishes with the kitchen team
- Ensure compliance with inhouse HACCP and food hygiene, health, and safety systems to ensure compliance
- Ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are properly stocked and stored
- Assisting with the plating and presentation of dishes
- Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality meals to our customers

- Completing duties with an attitude of always striving to exceed standards
Requirements and skills for a Commis Chef
- CDP experience in a similar style restaurant
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment
- A passion for food and a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and take directions from senior chefs
- Knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques a bonus
- Disciplined and keen to learn
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
- Excellent time management abilities
