About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our Pastry team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Ensure all pastries meet luxury standards for taste and presentation.
Follow recipes precisely to maintain consistency and quality.
Monitor ingredient freshness and ensure proper storage.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen.
Track and manage pastry inventory, reporting shortages.
Support menu development with creative input for new items.
Train and mentor junior staff in pastry techniques.
Ensure timely production of pastries for service.
Conduct quality checks on all finished products.
Assist in pastry preparation under the guidance of senior chefs.

Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines during busy service periods.
Ability to contribute to the development of new and innovative pastry items.

Excellent ability to manage time and multitask under pressure.
