Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking an Executive Sous Chef who will be responsible for assisting and ensuring the night audit procedures are completed on a nightly basis and ensuring the safety and security of the complex in the absence of Senior Management.

The Executive Sous ChefKey Responsibilities will include:

  • Schedule own time effectively around the business as well as all team members holidays around the business requirements.
  • Ensure a safe secure stimulating working environment is provided for the kitchen and BoH team.
  • Team is fully equipped with tools and skills, behaviours and knowledge.
  • Menu engineering to be checked regularly and menus adapted to manager food cost.
  • To be successful and competitive an executive chefs product must be creative and innovative.
  • Ensures the completion of the market list in accordance with M&C quality and quantity standards. Inspects all perishable food items for quality.

The Experience & Qualifications for Executive Sous Chef:

  • Experience in similar role and 4*/5* hotel.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Ability to take action on customers needs and opportunities, to exceed their expectations.
  • Ability to look for solutions, keep focus on driving guest satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
  • Team worker
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is an impressive 4-star deluxe hotel in the heart of charming Kensington and a minutes walk to Gloucester Road Underground station, allowing convenient access around London.
