As Head Chef, you will blend creativity, precision, and leadership to create unforgettable dining experiences. Youll take charge of developing innovative seasonal menus that highlight the best local produce, streamline kitchen operations for optimal efficiency, and inspire a talented team to deliver excellence at every service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Manage daily kitchen operations in a hands-on capacity, including mise en place (MEP) and service.
    • Support seamless collaboration with the bakery team and act as the principal kitchen manager in the Chef Partners absence.
  • Menu Development:
    • Lead the creation of innovative, seasonal menus with a focus on enhancing the savoury offering.
    • Design dishes that reflect the brands vision, elevating the guest experience through creativity and quality.
  • Standards of Excellence:
    • Lead by example, mentoring the team to uphold exceptional standards of food quality, flavour, and presentation.
    • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure every dish contributes to a memorable dining experience.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Inspire, manage, and develop a high-performing kitchen team through recruitment, training, and career growth opportunities.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages retention and professional development.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Support the Chef Partner in upholding rigorous health and safety standards.
    • Oversee kitchen maintenance and repairs, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Financial Performance:
    • Manage food costs, labor productivity, and back-of-house expenses to contribute to the restaurants financial goals.
    • Maintain a strong food gross profit margin and support overall commercial objectives.
