The Dally is a neighborhood members club in the heart of Islington.
Margo's, our restaurant serves modern European dishes, using sustainable, seasonal and wherever possible, locally sourced ingredients.
We are looking for a talented creative chef who has experience in building menus, catering experience, private dining and enjoys nurturing a small team. This role will suit well an experienced senior sous chef ready to take on his first Head Chef role.
Requirements:
- Experience working in members club desirable but not essential
- Experience with catering events and fine dining
- Fully accountable for all the food quality served within the club
- Hands on approach
- Experience working in small and dedicated teams
- Creating, costing and pricing menus
- Proficient with BOH systems and stock takes
- Leadership skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong passion for modern European cuisine
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Have a high standard and be quality driven
- Ben fun, enthusiastic and have lots of energy
- Have great communication skills with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and progress with your career
- H&S level 2
