  • Job Title: Group Head Pastry Chef (overseeing 3 restaurants)
  • Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
  • Location: City of London, UK
  • Reports to: Culinary Director and Corporate Chef

The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Group Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry operations for a renowned restaurant group in London. In this role, you will oversee multiple high-end establishments, ensuring the consistent quality and excellence of all pastry products. You will be responsible for creating innovative culinary offerings, upholding the highest standards, and leading a talented pastry team across all 3 restaurant locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate pastry production status regularly with Executive Chefs
  • Execute and maintain all recipes and menu items
  • Develop and implement seasonal menu changes in collaboration with Executive Chefs
  • Train and educate front of house staff
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
  • Implement solutions to improve operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience
  • Provide outstanding service during special events and daytoday operations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Conduct regular inventory and ensure proper stock levels
  • Minimize waste and manage food and labor costs efficiently
  • Lead, train, and guide the pastry team
  • Address guest complaints and ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with menu development and pricing as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of Pastry experience
  • Able to work long and flexible hours
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
  • High standard of personal hygiene and professionalism
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
