We are seeking an experienced Interim Sous Chef to join a fantastic modern British restaurant in London. This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic kitchen serving rosette-level cuisine for an established and respected restaurant.
About the Role:
- Step into a key leadership position, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional modern British cuisine.
- Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including menu development and team supervision.
- Assist in overseeing a talented team of chefs in a high-volume, rosette-level dining environment.
- Temporary, prorated contract with a competitive salary of £50k.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar Sous Chef role, preferably within a rosette or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a kitchen team.
- A passion for British cuisine with a creative approach to modern dishes.
- Experience in managing kitchen operations, including stock control, team management, and maintaining food hygiene standards.
