Position Summary:
We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie Pastry to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and creating high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards. You will work closely with the Pastry Chef and ensure smooth operations within the pastry section.
The weekly shift pattern is early morning.
Chef de Partie Responsibilities:
Prepare, bake, and present high-quality pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts.
Follow recipes and ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
Assist in the creation and development of new pastry menu items.
Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and kitchen assistants.
Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Monitor stock levels and assist in ingredient ordering and inventory control.
Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools in the pastry section are properly used and maintained.
Work efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining quali-ty.
Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service..
Chef de Partie Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role.
Culinary diploma or certification in Pastry/Baking preferred.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert preparation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and taste.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
