What we want:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and quality focused Kitchen Manager to join our team. You must have excellent knowledge of the day to day running of busy professional kitchens with the ability to organise effectively & be able to work quickly with a level head when under pressure.
Role Description:
We are looking for a proactive forward thinking ambitious kitchen manager who will perform consistently in line with the companys high standards.
You will work within the kitchen brigade reporting directly to the Executive Chef. You will be responsible for the day to day management of 2 kitchen areas, including placing food orders with suppliers, taking deliveries storing and accounting for food stock correctly, managing the kitchen food safety and Health & Safety systems, organising and managing a team of up to 10 kitchen porters and formulating menu production sheets/allergens as well as a number of adhoc kitchen administrative duties. On occasion during busy periods you will also be required to support Breakfast shift and some Event & Banqueting service periods when the need arises.
Your normal hours of work will be 6:30am until 3pm Monday Friday. You will be required to cover some weekend shifts during busy periods and there will be the opportunity for overtime covering event and banqueting work throughout the week.
Required Experience:
At least 3 years experience in the hospitality sector at a supervisory level with excellent IT skills. A good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene is required. The ability to work alone or as part of a team under pressure is essential.
Eligibility & Expiry:
