We are seeking a new superstar Head Chef to support the growth of our restaurant, cocktail bar and terrace in Southwest London.

This role would suit either an experienced head chef managing a team of at least 3 people, or a strong Sous Chef who is ready to make the leap into leadership and full accountability.

You should be passionate about every dish sent out, enjoy a challenge, and be able to think creatively, balancing guest experience, quality and cost.

What were looking for:

Someone with a minimum4 years hospitality experience(with at least 2 years working in kitchens and managing teams).

Experience managing kitchens, staff, menus, stock and budgets.

An inspired, creative chef who is ready to start influencing all food-related decisions quickly and confidently.

Someone with very high attention to detail and equally high standards.

A strong leader, with demonstrable people management skills.

H&S food level 2 minimum.


The Main Course

What the role entails:

- Full kitchen and team management to ensure the smooth running and consistency of service from our kitchen, including overseeing and managing all kitchen operations, from planning seasonal menusto managing teams, food preparation, compliance and quality control.

- Seasonal menu development and strategic input with the Owners. You will have full accountability for the kitchen operations day to day.

- Have your finger on the pulse of culinary and presentation trends, bringing innovation and efficiency to your menus.

- Stay compliant with all food and safety regulations, you will be a stickler for hygiene and high standards.

- Be confident in effectively reporting on kitchen performance, stock, waste and cost control and identify cost-saving and upsell opportunities.

- Work effectively with the management and front and back of house teams to deliver consistently high-quality service and food to our customers.

- Train, develop and manage kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to all food safety, hygiene and company standards.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the front of house staff,key suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely and reliable delivery of the best ingredients at best price.
