Live-out Chef in London
A chef is required for a family based in Chelsea. While the primary focus will be on cooking, there will be some degree of service (though a butler is also present) and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen. The family typically spend school terms in London and got France on most holidays. They are seeking someone on a retainer basis, available whenever they are in residence, either in London or France, with the possibility of some travel to the US as needed. There will probably be rotation at weekends or mid week to suit, with a part-time chef .
Cooking duties: The chef should be proficient in various types of cuisine, particularly French and Italian, with some knowledge of Asian dishes. The meals must be healthy, nutritious, and simple, with occasional preparation of cakes and desserts.
Household responsibilities: The chef will be responsible for food shopping, ensuring stock levels of essential ingredients, and managing the kitchen generally.
Additional requirements: A drivers licence and French language proficiency would be desirable.
Working hours: The chef must be flexible with working hours and be able to integrate into a busy household team.
Salary: Negotiable, between £70K and £80K
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
