This is an exciting role to support within in the restaurant team at a prestigious new restaurant in Kensington & Chelsea. Bringing an Italian fine dining flavour to West London.
With a high-profile chef, Emanuele Pollini, designing the food concept, this will be an incredible opportunity to work in a grade 2 listed iconic building, with an art gallery.
As a Pastry Chef de Partie you will work within the kitchen at one of the dedicated sections that will be issued to you by the Sous and Head Chef.
The Pastry Chef de Partie will:
- Prepare all desserts, patisseries and breads
- Support in the creation of new desserts & patisseries
- Maintain cleanliness in pastry kitchen
- Ensure food hygiene and health & safety requirements are all met
Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years experience working in High end restaurants
- At least 2 years experience working in a pastry kitchen
- An understanding of food hygiene requirements set out by the Food Standards Agency
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (HACCP)
- A positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in helping all other departments
- Experience in maintaining stores and effective stock management
