As aPastryChef de Partie, you will organises the section to run smoothly and to the correct standard. The Chef de Partie supervises their colleagues on section, and ensures that the agreed standards of food service and preparation are being met.

As a Pastry Chef de Partie your key responsibilities include:
- Supervises the section to ensure that it runs smoothly at all times.
- Confirms with the Junior Sous Chef any day to day special requirements or up-coming events
- Carries out any reasonable checks to ensure all duties have been fulfilled during the day.
- Checks storage areas to ensure that proper storage and rotation of food takes place.
- Ensures that all food is prepared to recipes designated by the Chef.
- Carries out regular checks on food to ensure proper rotation and storage (all items to be covered with cling film, dated and labelled).
