We are currently recruiting a passionate Pastry Chef to join the Fallow team. Our ideal team mate will be a hands-on, proactive, and enthusiastic leader, who injects their personality into their work and inspires the team to deliver amazing deserts.

About you -As a Pastry Sous Chef, you'll have proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef in a high-volume establishment. You will be a hands-on, proactive, and enthusiastic leader, injecting your personality into your work and inspiring the team to deliver a warm and memorable guest experience.

About the role:

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in running the pastry department.
  • Prepare and oversee the production of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation in all pastry creations.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and execute new dessert menu items.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs.
  • Maintain aclean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Comply with all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
