Salary Package:£29,000 - £34,000 (Sous Chef) per annum (inclusive of service charge)
Working Hours:45 hours per week, 5 days per week

As part of our culinary team, you'll have the chance to contribute to this exciting venture and create memorable dining experiences for our esteemed guests. The restaurant concept will be based on an Italian theme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to established standards.
  • Supervise and train the kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Contribute creative ideas to menu development and special events.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie or Pastry Commis Chef.
  • Luxury restaurant of hotel experience preferred - however not essential.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for innovative cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of various cuisines, cooking methods, and food presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
