Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to established standards.
  • Supervise and train the kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Contribute creative ideas to menu development and special events.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a Pastry Junior Sous Chef or Pastry Senior Chef de Partie.
  • Luxury restaurant or 5* hotel experience preferred - however not essential.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for innovative cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of various cuisines, cooking methods, and food presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
