Role overview:
As the Pastry Junior Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Pastry Chef in managing all aspects of the pastry department, including production, quality control, and inventory management. You will play a crucial role in crafting delicious desserts while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and production of a wide range of desserts.
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is stocked and organized.
  • Ensure all pastries are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Supervise and train junior pastry staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Monitor and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Participate in quality control, ensuring that all products meet our standards before delivery.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a production kitchen or bakery.
