Position: Pastry Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
Execute and oversee the production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in line with Mosimann's standards.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative and visually appealing pastry offerings for private events and dining experiences.
Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the pastry kitchen.
Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage wastage to minimize costs.
Contribute to menu planning and development, staying updated on industry trends and techniques.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end culinary establishment.
Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert preparation.
Creativity and passion for developing unique and visually stunning pastry creations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
