Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Unix / Ruby Chef Engineer with strong expertise in Chef Infra, Chef Automate, and Chef Inspec. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience coding and managing Inspec baselines and profiles, amending, validating, and testing them in a large-scale environment. As part of a dynamic DevOps team, you will contribute to the automation and configuration management processes, ensuring high-quality code and infrastructure compliance.
Skills and Experience: :- Strong experience with Unix/Linux environments and Ruby programming. - Extensive hands-on experience with Chef Infra, Chef Automate, and Chef Inspec.- Proven track record of coding, amending, and validating Inspec profiles and baselines. - Expertise in integrating Inspec profiles with CI/CD pipelines and performing comprehensive testing. - Solid understanding of configuration management tools and principles. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration with Chef. -Familiarity with working in an Agile environment. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in large-scale environments. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with other automation frameworks and tools. - Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous delivery methodologies. - Certifications in Chef, DevOps, or cloud platforms.
