NEW OPENING!! Boxcar is growing and we are looking for a Senior Chef De Partie to join us at Boxcar Bread & Wine!

We are seeking an experienced and confident Senior Chef de Partie to join our opening team. This is a critical role in our small kitchen, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen during service and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities of our Senior Chef de Partie:

Ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Prepare ingredients, cook, and plate dishes with precision, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
Adhere to strict hygiene standards, ensuring the kitchen is clean and well-organised at all times.
Manage ingredients and supplies for your section, minimising waste and ensuring freshness.
Work closely with thekitchen andfrontofhouseteam.
Take responsibility for the opening and closing of the kitchen.
Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised after sufficient training, showing reliability and self-sufficiency.

Requirements:

Ability to multitask and manage several kitchen tasks simultaneously in a skilled, patient, and organised manner.
Must be a team player who is willing to help out in all areas of the kitchen.
