We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Chef de Partie to join our Kitchens team at The London Clinic, based at our main site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary of £32,750 per annum.

Job Profile:

As the Senior Chef de Partie, you will assist in the production of high-quality meals and efficient services to all customers, including patients and staff, inside and outside of meal service times.

  • Job Type: Permanent, Full Time.
  • Shift Pattern: 40 hrs per week, straight shifts, Mon-Sun rota.
  • Job Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW.
  • Salary: £32,750 per annum.

Key Duties:

  • Working all areas of the kitchen i.e. Larder, Sauce and Vegetable Sections.
  • Supervise and assist Chef de Parties in the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • To liaise with the Sous chef regarding any bulk menu item production, producing all meals and bulk production items to the specified SOP exactly.
  • To maintain the correct stock levels in your work area and to follow policies on storage of food items.
  • To ensure that food is professionally presented and all meals requested are promptly dispatched at the correct service times.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within an existing Private Hospital, restaurant, or 4/5-star Hotel.
  • Up to date with food trends.
  • Good knowledge of seasonal ingredients and methods of production.
  • A good understanding of the operation of the kitchen within a Private Hospital.
  • Strong knowledge of all food production and preparation and a basic knowledge pastry section.
  • Ability to work on your own and to achieve daily targets.
  • Strong attention to detail.
