Josephine Marylebone will be an exciting new Parisienne brasserie; opening this February/March. Located in the heart of Marylebone, open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, our restaurant is designed to offer an exceptional culinary experience.

What Were Looking For:

Were seeking dynamic, talented, and driven individualswith a passion forFrench cuisine to join our opening team. As a Sous Chef at Josephine, you will play a vital role in shaping our kitchen operations and delivering a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading and managing a team of 20+ in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, food costs, and supplier coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Support service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume or fine-dining establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of French cuisine.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
