What Were Looking For:
Were seeking dynamic, talented, and driven individualswith a passion forFrench cuisine to join our opening team. As a Sous Chef at Josephine, you will play a vital role in shaping our kitchen operations and delivering a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading and managing a team of 20+ in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, food costs, and supplier coordination.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Support service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume or fine-dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of French cuisine.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
