Job description

The Role

We are recruiting aSenior Sous Chef £56 K Package basic £ 46-48Kto join our kitchen brigade. The role is a full time position working, any 5 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends and public holidays withlast orders are at 9.45pm.

The Club

TheOxford and Cambridge Clubis an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiards room and extensive libraries. The Club has nearly 5000 members.

The Person

We are looking for someone who is highly personable, passionate about delivering five star service and thrives in a busy working environment where no two shifts are ever the same. Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Good attention to details
  • High standard of food preparation
  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef with a proven track record

Main Duties

  • Run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by the Head Chef
  • Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service
  • Be responsible for the quality control of stock and prepared food
  • Support all chefs in delivering required standard of food
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
