We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and support the Executive Head Chef in the day-to-day management of our kitchen. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between Monday and Sunday, depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Executive Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations
- Preparing and cooking from a Continental Menu with grill experience
- Training and developing junior kitchen team members
- Managing stock and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail and taking pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen, ideally in a hotel environment
- Passion for cooking, with the ability to work under pressure and strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and food hygiene standards
- A positive attitude and team player with excellent leadership skills
- Ability to carry out manual tasks and ensure customer care at the highest level
