We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef with a strong background in Spanish cuisine, a focus on fresh ingredients, and the ability to cook over an open fire. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure adherence to culinary standards.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
Oversee stock management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared on time and meet quality expectations.
Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
Strong knowledge and expertise in Spanish cuisine.
Exceptional skills in cooking over an open fire.
Experience working with premium ingredients such as caviar, lobster, and bluefin sashimi-grade tuna.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding dining experiences.
