About You:
You are a talented and motivated culinary professional with extensive experience in fine dining. Your skills and creativity in the kitchen, combined with your ability to support and lead the kitchen team, ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are always ready to innovate and elevate the dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
Menu Development:Collaborate with the Head Chef in creating and updating menus.
Kitchen Management:Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Team Leadership:Lead, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Quality Control:Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's high standards of presentation and taste.
Innovation:Contribute to the development of new recipes and culinary techniques.
Qualifications:
Experience:Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a fine dining setting.
Education:Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
Culinary Skills:Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Leadership Skills:Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on training and development.
Organizational Skills:Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving:Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
Flexibility:Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
