Role: Senior Sous Chef
Location: West London
Salary: £50k p/a - £60k p/a
The Senior Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, overseeing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining kitchen efficiency. This role involves supervising the team, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily kitchen operations and supervise staff.
- Assist in menu creation and ensure consistent food quality.
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory, control food costs, and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
- Experience working in a high volume restaurant.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
- Culinary degree preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
