About the role:
We need you to be able to:
- Communicating and supporting and assist the Head Chef.
- Coordinate food preparation and plating.
- Maintain operation and health and safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor and optimise orders to achieve food margins
- Be reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Occasionally step-in and cover more junior roles in the kitchen.
- Provide cover when the Head Chef is on holiday.
- Understand HACCP and Key Operations in a modern kitchen.
- Run a busy and fast paced service.
- Place orders when needed.
- Be flexible: You may occasionally need to step-in and cover more junior roles in the kitchen.
