Our Sous Chef will:
- Work with the Head Chef on menu development.
- Deliver our menu, from breakfast and brunch dishes to light lunches and evening dishes.
- Lead and mentor kitchen teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the highest quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensure seamless service.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience in a similar senior role within a neighbourhood all day dining establishment.
- Previous experience in new opening management is highly desirable, demonstrating your ability to navigate the complexities of launching a new venture.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing kitchen budgets, controlling costs, and driving profitability.
- Proven track record of supporting and inspiring teams to achieve excellence.
- Exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Passion for delivering outstanding food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure under pressure.
