Motcombs is currently hiring an exceptional Sous Chef to join our esteemed kitchen brigade.

The Role:

As our Sous Chef, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, working closely with our Head Chef to bring culinary visions to life. Your culinary expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and flavor. Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, ensuring a harmonious balance of flavors, textures, and seasonal ingredients.
  • Oversee and participate in food preparation, ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring impeccable food presentation, portion control, and proper plating techniques.
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and vendors to source the finest ingredients and maintain strong relationships.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a similar role
