We are currently looking for a SousChef at Blues Kitchen Brixton.
Oursous chef is a crucial part of the senior management team; supporting the head chef by leading and inspiring the wider kitchen team to ensure a high standard of execution to deliver consistent, beautiful dishes as part of one of Londons best dining experiences.
The Blues Kitchen brings a touch of southern soul to London. Vintage music posters imported from Nashville, a 1950s airstream caravan, and light fixtures made from gramophones make The Blues Kitchen a stunning setting to soak up a live soundtrack of timeless blues and soul from world famous resident musicians.
With all American favorites on the menu and an expertly curated selection of the worlds finest bourbon, The Blues Kitchen stands as one of the UKs most loved venues.
We are looking for an experienced souschef who is looking for a new & exciting challenge.

Experience and Skills:
- At least two years of sous chef experience.
- A team player with strong leadership skills with a passion for learning, development and training junior chefs.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with staff and reporting to the senior management team.
- Knowledge of industry best practices.
- Level 2 food hygiene certificate.
- Experience of cooking high quality barbecue is preferable
