Salary includes guaranteed tronc

You must be an immediate start or have a notice period of no more than 2 weeks

5 straight shifts per week and out by 7.30pm approx. including weekends working 5 out of 7 days

Sous chef required with rosette experience for this high profile retail store restaurant in Central London

Small team including the head chef plus Kitchen porters to help with prep

All made fresh on site daily

Classic British cuisine using seasonal ingredients

Covers- Seating 70 covers and turning tables up to 3 times per day

Menu includes a la carte, pre theatre, brunch and afternoon tea.

We are seeking a Sous Chef who has a passion and experience in classic British cuisine, work stability, an outgoing personality, excellent communication & organisational skills and good hygiene standards.

Manage all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation and production, and management and training of kitchen staff

Ensure efficient, cost-effective operation and profitability of food production

Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order

Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner

Oversee the kitchen in the head chefs absence

Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications

Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are met
