HIDE-Sous Chef

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at Michelin* HIDE.

HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight.

Spread over three floors, two light-filled dining rooms are set around a breath-taking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park

Servingbreakfast, lunch & dinner, a sizeable a la carte menu
showcases the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network
ofsmall farmers &suppliers from acrossthe UK. A tasting menu with matching wine flights is also available on both floors.

Everything is made in-house wherever possible: fromcharcuterie & breadto jams,
juices and pickles.

As Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing, cooking cuisine within your speciality
  • Supporting the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to develop new dishes for the menu;
  • Training the junior chefs working with you
  • Stock control & waste management
  • Ensuring the brigade follow H&S regulations
  • Deputizing for the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to manage the brigade
  • Demonstrating a respectful attitude & responding respectfully to the demands of the Management team.
