A new role as a Sous Chef with excellent work conditions and for an immediate start has become available.

The Sous Chef will work for a fine dining Japanese restaurant and based within a Boutique Hotel based in Central London.

The ideal Sous Chef will receive a basic annual salary of £41,000 per year, plus a generous service charge.

The salary package including service charge can go up to £45/48K per.

The ideal candidatemusthave experience in a Japanese and/or Japanese fusion restaurant. You will also have kitchen leadership skills. It is desired that you have experience with Sushi.

Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week contract Monday-Sunday with 2 days off per week.

Monthly paid service charge.

Key responsibilities for our Sous Chef

  • Leading the kitchen team in the hot section, pastry section and Sushi section
  • Cooking using a variety of methods including the Robata grill and making Tempura
  • Ensuring a high level of cleanliness, date labelling, daily checking of temperatures etc.
  • Assisting with training of chefs in menus, COSHH, HACCAP, daily schedules etc.
  • Assisting with creation of menus
