We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Brook House, our award winning Rosette site in Fulham. If you have a passion for creating exceptional dishes, a keen eye for details, and a proven track record of success in a senior kitchen role, then this opportunity is for you

As our Sous Chef, you will benefit from

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute creative and innovative menus that exceed our guest expectations.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
  • Trian, mentor and supervise the junior team to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Assist in managing stock rotation, ordering supplies and controlling food costs
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
  • Take the lead in preparing and plating dishes during busy service periods
  • Ensure consistent presentation of all dishes and adherence to recipe guidelines
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavour profiles and food presentation
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
