Alexander Steele are delighted to work in partnership with a highly regarded food business. They supply high quality products into major retailers. They are looking for a talented Food Technologist to join their team in London on a 12 month FTC.
On Offer:
- A salary of up to 40,000
- 12 month FTC
- Hybrid - Option to work 2 days a week from home
- Working Monday to Friday
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
The role:
- As Food Technologist you will support the business with the delivery of all safe and legal technical requirements.
- Ensure quality management systems are maintained and appropriate documentation completed.
- Maintain specifications to ensure compliance.
- Act as main point of contact for all technical queries.
- Address any quality issues and ensure they are resolved.
- Assess artwork and packaging to action as required.
- Manage customer complaints to strive for improvement where needed.
The candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar Technical role within food manufacturing
- Hold a degree in Food Science or the equivalent experience
- Good knowledge of the food industry and UK food legislation is essential
- A motivated individual who can work well under pressure
- An individual with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
