Site Technician (Construction)

£25,000 - £30,000 + Bonus + Training + Progression + Overtime + Mon-Fri
Are you experienced in the construction industry looking for specialist training and have the opportunity to progress to more senior roles, while working as an on-site Technician running investigations on a varied and exciting range of projects?
This company has over 160 years of professional experience in the industry and has worked on many iconic building and projects in London, such as the Thames Barrier, providing expertise in water penetration testing and faade testing.
This role would see you both on site and in the lab engaging in a variety of exciting projects ranging from quick tests spanning no longer than a day to extensive projects you'll be working on for months. You will be responsible for conducting building and faade inspections and preparing technical reports based on your findings, undertaking water penetration testing using hose and spraybar and various other on-site tests.
This role would suit someone with construction experience looking for a hands-on role where they can learn and develop new skills and build on existing knowledge of the industry.
The Role:
- Water-based tests and investigations on buildings.
- Primarily site-based in and around London, with the lab in Clapham as a base.
- Monday to Friday, 8-4 + overtime.
The Person:
- Knowledge of construction.
- Commutable to Clapham.
- Looking for specialist training.
