The Role:
Our client is seeking a hands-on data expert with SQL, Python and PowerBI skills to examine and analyse the data landscape, working with systems in order to design performance metrics, MI etc. with a view to deriving insights required to improve and enhance company performance.
In this key role, you will:
- develop and execute the data strategy for the Group
- oversee data governance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices
- lead data transformation initiatives to enhance data quality, accessibility / reporting, and analytics capabilities
- collaborate with senior leadership in order to embed a data-driven culture
- support strategic decision-making.
What will I need?
- Proven experience as a senior data leader within the insurance industry (ideally within the London Insurance market)
- a strong background in data strategy, governance, and transformation
- a track record of driving impactful data initiatives
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- the ability to make complex issues understandable for a non-technical audience.
