Permanent Position Required: Head of Technology
My client, a value-oriented investment fund managing c.$8bn AUM, is looking for a Head of Technology to join them on a permanent basis.
Location: London office, On-site required
Salary: Negotiable + Bonus
The Head of Technology will:
- Develop and execute technology strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Lead and manage a high-performing technology team
- Oversee technology infrastructure, applications, and data management
- Ensure cybersecurity and regulatory compliance
- Drive innovation and research in emerging technologies
- Manage technology budget and vendor relationships
- Develop analytics and data warehousing capabilities
The Head of Technology will have:
- Extensive experience in technology and team management
- Strong knowledge of financial industry trends and innovations
- A background in investment management/hedge funds/private equity
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with software development teams
- Strong financial and vendor management acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, etc.)
- Understanding of ITIL, digital transformation, and technology governance
- Knowledge of AI applications in finance
- Project management and business analysis experience
