Information Manager
A leading property developer in Central London is seeking an Information Manager. This full-time, office-based role occasionally requires site visits across London.
As an Information Manager, you will collaborate with project teams, senior management, including the Quality Manager, Pre-Construction Manager, and Document Controllers, to enhance processes and procedures. Your responsibilities include overseeing project-level Common Data Environments (CDE) and electronic data management systems, organising, storing, and analysing datasets efficiently, and ensuring security and privacy requirements are met. You will also help streamline processes.
Salary: Up to Ā£60,000 (depending on experience)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Follow IM processes and standards (including ISO19650).
- Ensure project IM systems function effectively, enabling teams to access required information.
- Support and guide project teams in IM practices.
- Conduct quality control of documents and artefacts.
- Contribute to the setup, implementation, and development of the CDE.
- Participate in the global Digital Centre of Excellence, including knowledge sharing and case studies.
- Coordinate activities to ensure successful project management.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in construction or related sectors (e.g., rail, infrastructure, architecture).
- Familiarity with information architecture, naming, numbering, and filing conventions.
- Technical qualifications and certifications (e.g., APM IM, Association of Information Managers) are desirable but not essential.
- Experience with EDMS systems such as Aconex, ViewPoint, Asite, BIW, Business Collaborator, etc.
- ISO 19650 certification.
