Management Information Manager

Fixed Term Contract – 12 Months

The Opportunity

QBE Europe is currently recruiting a Management Information manager to join a successful and well-established expense finance team in our London office, with a dotted reporting line to our Director of People Business Partnering. The purpose of this role is to provide insightful management information and analysis on our joint people and finance metrics, ensure accuracy in the reporting of actual, plan and forecast headcount information and translate this into actionable insights to guide organisational decisions and align with business objectives.

Your new role

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly management information on Workforce Planning metrics for our Executive Management Board and their leadership team.

  • Ensure the accurate reporting of joint People and Finance metrics by gathering information from source system (Workday), verifying accuracy and collaborating with Finance and People Business Partners to produce value-add narrative.

  • Facilitate effective decision-making by analysing and forecasting headcount information and communicating implications to senior management.

  • Manage and develop monthly MI procedures to meet current and anticipated future business requirements.

  • Establish a strong working relationship with Finance and People Business Partners to ensure Workforce Planning information and supporting narrative is reported consistently.

  • Provide expertise and support the Head of Expense Management and Director of People Business Partnering on ad hoc activity relating to Workforce Planning/Forecasting.

  • Support the development of our workforce planning tool (Adaptive) to meet current and future needs through informed recommendations and collaboration with the Change team.

  • Build a strong culture of accountability, to ensure output and quality of the services meet stakeholder/customer expectations and are in line with agreed KPIs.

  • This role is a 12-month fixed term contract given an effective and efficient monthly process will need to be established and ultimately transferred to Business as Usual.

About you

  • Experience in MI reporting within the financial services industry, preferably including expenses management.

  • Data modelling and business analysis experience.

  • Experience working cross-functionally.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing analysis and recommendations related to strategic workforce plans.
