I am recruiting for a Change & Release Manager to work on a hybrid basis - 2 days in either Birmingham / Blackpool / Leeds / Manchester / Newcastle / Sheffield or London.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

Candidates MUST have recent Central Government experience, within the last 12 months.

Release Management & Change Management experience is essential. This is not a Project Manager position.

The client is looking for a release manager to join a fast paced, digital team to help them manage the delivery of change to live services and evolve their approaches to release and change management.

You will have a background in agile delivery of digital services on large scale programmes, ideally experienced in continuous delivery of transactional web services.

You will be able to use your skills to communicate and influence across the programme and be comfortable managing across teams to deliver releases within sometimes challenging constraints.

It is essential you have hands on experience in change and release within a devops team and be able to show you have technical knowledge on Jenkins, Terraform tools or similar.
