Our client is currently seeking an Associate Director to join their London based Financial Planning division.

Our client is the UK’s leading integrated wealth management and professional services group, with over 100 years of experience in helping generations of people and businesses to thrive. They offer an extensive range of financial and professional services to individuals, family trusts, professional intermediaries, charities and businesses.

This highly reputable organisation currently seeks to recruit for a Associate Director level candidate, to join their London office.

We’re looking for someone with proven track record of delivering growth; someone who enjoys winning new business; is technical and planning led (has experience working with IMs). Ideally, they will have some management experience and would enjoy building and developing a team.

Job Description

  • The successful person will be responsible for delivering financial planning and wealth management advice across the London & South Eastern region, building and developing trusted relationships with current and potential clients
  • To look after and support client needs
  • To plan, implement and execute the annual Business Plan in line with agreed individual expectations
  • To build new client relationships and maintain and develop existing client relationships through effective ongoing service to help minimise attrition, and to deliver new instructions and referrals as a result of satisfied clients
  • Structure and lead client meetings in a professional manner, ensuring all information and advice provided is up to date, technically accurate and meets clients’ needs
  • To ensure clients have the right advice to achieve their financial objectives, while understand and considering the impact of factors such as retirement planning, inheritance, and tax efficiency for individual clients
  • To ensure client reviews are undertaken at least annually in line with clients’ changing risk attitudes and strategic requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma qualified and working towards Chartered status
  • Experience of working as a Financial Planner for 4+ years
  • Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide ranging holistic financial planning strategies & solutions
  • Proven ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis
