We are a leading recruitment consultancy for the media and communications industry, established over thirty years ago.

We are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our PR & communications desk. Ideally, we are looking for an established recruiter with experience working within public relations, public affairs and communications.    

As a company we have ambitious growth plans for the next 3-4 years, with the aim of growing to over 30 staff, so it is an exciting time to join the business with opportunity to grow your own team and niche. We prize strong candidate and client relationships and expect our consultants to spend a substantial amount of time out of the office at in person meetings and networking events. The Senior Recruitment Consultant’s Job:

Our PR & comms team have strong relationships with many top PR agencies and consultancies, spanning consumer, B2B, tech, financial, as well as public affairs and policy. You will have the opportunity to benefit from our advanced marketing and sourcing tech suite (including cutting-edge AI), a significant degree of autonomy in your work, opportunity to develop our business in the U.S with potential for business trips, and a friendly and supportive team of colleagues. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Establish yourself as the go-to recruiter in your sector for both candidates and clients
  • Manage the full 360 recruitment process providing best in class service
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry leaders in the UK & U.S media sector
  • Consistently network with clients and candidates, regularly attending meetings in and around London
  • Help mentor more junior team members, working collaboratively and supporting success across the wider business
  • Growing your desk and book of business, both through growth of current accounts and new business activity

Requirements

  • Track record of exceeding financial targets in a recruitment agency setting (experience recruiting for PR, public affairs or marketing agencies would be highly desirable)
  • Ability to hold detailed client conversations with confidence
  • Confident in interviewing candidates regarding C-suite and Board level positions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience of driving business growth (inc. growth in existing accounts and gaining new clients)
  • Confident in sourcing & pitching for new business
