We are recruiting for an experienced Account Manager for an established furniture design and manufacturing business in London. The company design and manufacture furniture for architects and interior designers for a range of projects from luxury residential, high-end hospitality, cruise ships and other commercial projects. They are a large business with over 200 staff supplying to some of the most prestigious residential and hospitality projects world-wide.
On a day-to-day basis the role will involve managing relationships with a number of key client accounts of interior designers and architects and other design professionals. The Account Manager will maintain relationships with their key clients on an ongoing basis to maintain a loyal client following. The Account Manager will regularly meet with their clients to discuss current and future interior design projects and will work with them on the interior scheming process consulting and advising on a wide range of furniture design solutions that meet their project expectations.
Candidates will need to possess furniture industry experience and have previous sales experience. Along with this is the requirement to be highly organised and competent using Microsoft Office packages particularly Word, Excel and Power Point as well as an ability to understand CAD drawings. Ongoing training will be provided as part of the employee development programme.
Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Salary based on experience but in the region of £45,000 - £54,000. The company can offer 1 day a week working from home after initial training period. 4 days a week the Account Manager will be based at the Chelsea studio or meeting with clients on site.
